Making Art of Mistakes

This painting started as a semi-abstract take on Delicate Arch. I was frustrated with how it was turning out and began painting small swatches of shades of pink around the failed arch attempt. From there, an image in my mind began to form of a rocky cliff by the sea. Not the gloomy ones you’d imagine in a mystery novel. But a pretty in pink one. One I’d like to live on.
