SUU Storytelling Festival

Amanda Lowry Wiberg giving a presentation to a group of people

In collaboration with Southern Utah University’s Storytelling Festival, I conceptualized and led a Lunch & Learn program at the Southern Utah Museum of Art centered on identity and artistic expression.

I developed and presented a lecture exploring how artists communicate personal and cultural identity through their work, creating a space that encouraged both reflection and conversation. Following the discussion, participants were invited to create their own self-portraits—translating ideas from the lecture into hands-on artistic practice.

This project reflects my interest in designing programs that are both educational and interactive—where audiences don’t just learn about art, but actively engage with it in a meaningful, personal way.
