SUMA’s 8th Birthday Party

To celebrate the 8th anniversary of the Southern Utah Museum of Art, I helped plan and execute a large-scale, family-friendly community event designed to welcome and engage a wide audience.

My contributions included designing a custom scavenger hunt experience—encouraging guests to explore the museum by finding eight themed elements throughout the space—as well as supporting activity stations such as crafts, face painting, and interactive experiences.

The scavenger hunt served as both an engagement tool and a wayfinding strategy, guiding visitors through the museum in a playful, intentional way. I also contributed to the overall event atmosphere, helping create a space that felt celebratory, accessible, and community-focused.
